What is average timeline for Saskatoon from test date to oath ?

Dear Senior members from Saskatoon , kindly share your timelines for citizenship application (Application Received to Test Date/ Oath), this will be a huge help for new applicants !

Citizenship Application Received May 8, 2014
Started Processing Application on July 10, 2014
File Transferred to LO - not sure of date called during beginning of April and said file was in Saskatoon in the early stages of processing
Citizenship Test -
Citizenship Oath -

Somewhat disheartening when you see people from other provinces sending their applications out 3 or 4 months after you do and they have already written their tests and taken the oath. Saskatoon and Regina need to improve on their timeframe.

Thanks for sharing the timeline, it's really discouraging that the application processing time in saskatoon and regina is longer than any other city.

My time line Saskatonians

Hi Simkr,,, when you send your additional docs after test, did you send copy or original. I have been requested to send translation ( from certified translator) of few stamps of passport. Should i send original or copy of translation?

A friend of mine, his co-worker is a Saskatoon applicant and she submitted her application March 2014. She just wrote her test last week.

So my application was submitted July 2014. When will I most likely be getting test invitation ? This summer? or September/October?

Do they process it by month?

Saskatoon has one of the worst timelines for citizenship application, for last 4 to 5 months Saskatoon office is getting on an average 2 applicants per month (Based on the spreadsheets available on various groups) which is nothing in comparison to other offices and still they are the slowest, no idea what's cooking ! I understand they they are a small office with small group or staff but still it doesn't makes sense at all....... and on top of that saskatchewwan has only one citizenship judge who organizes the oath ceremonies, due to this applicants have to wait for months to get a oath ceremony date. Hopefuly it gets better !

Woohoo!

We sent you a notice on May 14, 2015 to appear and write the citizenship test on June 9, 2015 at 9:00 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

As for oath ceremony....I don't see Saskatchewan even listed on their website.
