Really depends on the officer.
Mine didn't even check the stamps during my eligibility period and odds are yours will probably only verify the biographic page on the old passport, but if you want to be at peace with this situation... :)

Thank you for the advice
I guess I am a bit nervous and getting worried about the little details.
Good luck in your process

Strange ...that officer asked to present original ielts result. usually they do not want based on other reply.

I find it odd too. I was actually thinking of reminding him to check my IELTS lol. The officer was nice and chatty so I guess he just based my english proficiency by the short interview.

Usually the officers check the original IDs like drivers license etc, COPR, PR card, passports and stamps. If in doubt then they ask for other originals.
Its always recommended to carry the originals to the test/interview.

Bad advice.

You are lucky that you got easy test and passed. Relying just on online tests is not a good idea. Official book is the only way to pass the test. Althought online tests are helpful to learn however cant be fully relied upon the online tests to pass the exam.
I did not give any "advice", I explained how I learned.

You should learn what advice is, and secondly, I didn't need the book at all, it wouldn't have helped me, so your suggestion that the book is the only way to learn is wrong. Not everyone learns by reading books. I entirely relied on the exams and was fine, the exams derive from the book. Was not lucky, the exams were as accurate as posters here said they were when I inquired. Hence why I easily passed the test.

Overall, crappy post by you.

First of all , you don't have to take the things personally. It's a public forum and everyone can express their own views.
If you have passed the exam by just doing the online tests then consider yourself lucky that the questions came from the online tests you have done. It does not mean that everyone will get the questions from online tests. Questions do come from the book and not outside that's why I emphasize to read the book. Online tests help a person learn the information however what if the actual test does not have the questions those show up on online tests?
Online tests should be treated as supplementary information just like extra help.
By the way I passed the test with 20/20 score by concentrating on the book only and using online tests as supplementary help. Let's guide our future to be citizens to the right path.

Anyway, peace!

Apologies, I should have mentioned that I was referring to transcripts from universities. I had sent a copy of those with my application and then had to bring the original documents with me to the interview.

Hi guys how long did u got invitation for the test is ur in process? Pls thanks

3 days is a joke.
Expect anything between 1 and 6 months after your application is in process.
And it can be either by email or snail mail.
Lol u scared lol good try

Sorry i misunderstood the question. I thought you were asking how long it takes to get the letter after ecas gets updated with test invite. My ecas went into inprocess in sept and got the test invite in jan. It depends on the office.
