I took the test today. I find it easy and kind of disappointed with the amount of time I wasted studying. Lol.

The facts that I thought that were not important and did not memorize by heart were actually part of the questions.

And it’s true that the practice tests online are harder than the actual test.
Were there any questions related to the province you live in? And if you don't mind what is your local office?

No, nothing. Questions were all general facts about Canada. Some were true or false. Just read the book twice or thrice and you’ll be fine.

My office is in Winnipeg

I read only a part of the book and tried some online mock tests, and it seems so easy, especially since some questions are always repeated...

Is it really that easy or is there a trick?
Due to my style of learning I never read the book. Instead I took only online practice tests countless times and got 19/20. The 1 I got wrong was a rather hard question and wasn't covered by any of the online practices I took.

All depends on the person taking the exam and how they learn. Reading the book once or even over and over wouldn't have helped me one bit.

Hello,
I have a Citizenship test and interview after around 10 days, and I am preparing the documents needed. However, I have an old passport (expired in 2007) attached (because I had a valid visa on it) to a passport within my eligibility period.
I did translate all the stamps (not in English or French) in the passport within my eligibility period, my question is, shall I also translate the stamps in the one expired in 2007 (4 years before I landed in Canada)?
Kindly advise
Thank you

Yes translate stamps before you landed in Canada if they are in same passport otherwise officer will not know if they are before or after you landed if they are not in English.

Thank you,
I think I was not clear in my post. Kindly allow me to explain in details. I have 2 expired passports attached together (because I had a visa on one of them) . They are attached by the issuing government with seal and all, so I can't detach them.
One passport was valid from 2002-2007. The other passport from 2007-2015. I landed in 2011, so I have translated all the non-English or French stamps in the (2007-2015) passport.
My question is, shall I also translate the stamps in the (2002-2007) passport?
Kindly advise
Thanks again

Bad advice.

You are lucky that you got easy test and passed. Relying just on online tests is not a good idea. Official book is the only way to pass the test. Althought online tests are helpful to learn however cant be fully relied upon the online tests to pass the exam.

In my case the officer didn’t check my IELTS but he did check the original of the IDs I sent (health card, licence, pr card and copr). The interview probably took 5 mins only.

Really depends on the officer.
Mine didn't even check the stamps during my eligibility period and odds are yours will probably only verify the biographic page on the old passport, but if you want to be at peace with this situation... :)
