I agree every one is different. Some have better memory than others. I am just sampling every one around here. I have already spend 5 hours reading the book and have barely finished half of it.
Yeah, someone advised me not to say it was easy because, as you said, every one is different. Some people have studied all their lives and have that skill, while others might not be used to it. Others might be interested in current affairs and/or history and might know most answers even before starting to study. Then there's better memory, as you said. That's why I think the Richmond Library link is great because it actually looks like the exam and you get to know what you're up against.

I had my test today and passed! None of the questions from the booklet were identical from the online practice. Some questions are very straightforward and some need common sense. A couple of questions werent in the Discovery Canada.

Which online tests were you doing in preparation? My test was mainly exactly like the online practice tests.

Hi Everyone,
I did my Test recently and wanted to share my experience for the benefit of other forum members

Test : It was very easy. I was over prepared with dates and personalities etc. Especially in the history section there are lot of dates and personalities .
The exam was easy though, most of them are very generic questions. The link that other had shared on this site of Richmond Public Library was very helpful.
Exam questions are similar to those. If you read Discover Canada and Practice those 150 questions, you should be all set.
Do not waste your money on paid sites/books for the Citizenship test.

Interview: Was simple. They ask generic questions and some specific ones on a case by case basis. In general, its simple.
Carry the Originals that they requested.

It takes 2-3 hours for the whole process, even though the actual test can take only 2-10 mins. Plan accordingly.

Read this thread. I've explained multiple times in various threads in some detail what to expect and what not to waste your time on.

All the questions were from Discover Canada, they asked us not to discuss the Specific questions to protect the integrity of the exam.
If you STUDY Discover Canada and take the Richmond Public Library Test , it should be fine.

Again every one, every test center, questions set may be different .
The questions I got very simple and all of them were from Discover Canada.

some of the tests from the links are kind of harder than the others, like v-soul & citizenshipsupport.ca. not sure if you spend lot of time with them ? just trying to get an idea of how much effort to put in this test.

My test is about three weeks from now. I have already spend over 20 hours on the book and some online test. I can score 100% on apnatoronto and citizenship support but other test I am only scoring 60-70% . Not sure if i should spend another 30 hours on the material.

This is going to be stressful until I actually write the test.

You should concentrate on the official discover canada book and read it thoroughly and learn the information even the captions and quoted text on the sides/corners of the pages.

Try the free online websites just for learning purpose however don't depend upon them to pass the test. You should rely on the official guide to learn all information. Try the official audio guide too on the way or whenever you are free.
