Hello Experts,

I'll complete my four years stay in Canada in Dec 2016. If I apply for Citizenship in Jan 2017, how long it might take to finish the process i.e Oath and then get Canadian Passport?

Will I be able to travel outside Canada while Citizenship is in process? Would you suggest to skip travel outside or it's okay?

I'm planning to travel in Mar 2017 for few weeks. Wondering if I should skip it.

Thanks in advance for your suggestion.

A few weeks of travel should not cause any problems, as long as you are not abandoning Canadian residency....

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
As per CIC "you should only contact us if:
you plan to leave Canada for more than two weeks in a row"

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/citizenship/become-after.asp

and as suggested by links18 maintaining valid PR card and PR status one can travel and return back

Can I leave Canada after I mail my citizenship application?
