Had my citizenship test 2 days ago in Scarborough..

I know its too early to ask, but, How long should I expect for oath invite !!!

Congrats !!!, Indeed, its quite encouraging to note CIC Scarborough has acted so fast and changed your status to DM.

Looks like you may get the Oath invitation in few weeks. Would you mind sharing your time line please ?

Oath invites rely mainly on when your application was received by CIC, but you should expect to receive it in about 1-2 months. Congrats!

That's weird. I wrote my test in Scarborough on December 18. I am still waiting for my oath and my ecas status says Decision made (since December 21) but I do not have any info of test invite or date in my ecas. I still only see application in process from July 6.

Does ecas content differ from person to person?

You might have noticed some of the candidates receiving Oath invitations after 6 - 8 weeks too, mostly in Ontario locations.

Whereas, CIC west coast are pretty fast in wrapping up entire process.

Considering the Christmas, New year Holiday, plus Scarborough location is usually slow, you can expect your Oath invitation in few weeks. ;D

I did my test too in Scarborough on 25th. My ecas shows decision made.
And today, Thursday I received letter for oath ceremony in February.

But my application was submitted in February 2015.

Sorry, I should have been more precised when quoting dates.

Yes. I wrote test on 25 January 2016
Yes, the notice was received in post yesterday I.e. 28 January 2016
I just checked ecas and it says that notice was posted on 26 January 2016

It is not the same for all,

I did my test on Jan 15th and got Decision Made on Jan 18th but no Oath invite yet,

So as always CIC does not follow any timing rule specially in Scarborough location!!!

Maybe coz ur application was submitted in Feb 15... they wanted to finish everything before it completes 1 yr...targets targets
