How long will it take for the public health to respond and advise on way forward? I want to travel and wont want that to be affected

Regarding clearing condition 32:
If you didn’t receive any email after you completed everything with doctor, we are in the same situation. You can also read my previous posts. Briefly, I reached out Public health unit in my region which had helped me to complete my surveillance at that time. It turned out they hadn’t updated IRCC Public health liaison unit about medical clearance completion back in the day. After my follow up they found the record and updated IRCC Public health liaison unit. Then, Public health liaison unit sent me:
“According to our records, you are in compliance with the medical surveillance requirements associated with your application. This means that you have completed the actions that were required of you by IRCC in relation to your medical condition and no further action is needed at this time.
We have updated your file to indicate your compliance with IRCC and included a copy of this message.”
which I was supposed to receive after my actual medical surveillance completion.
So my medical file was updated, but now it was time for citizenship officer to get updated. I sent that compliance email to IRCC via a webform just to make sure they receive it.
But still not sure if they actually cleared it or my application is still on hold due to Condition 32. I ordered gcms notes to see that, hopefully will receive it in 3-4 weeks then I can update you.
It took 7 days for me to receive compliance email after I had reached out Public health in my region. I think that pretty much depends on how they focus on the issue. In my case both regional public health and IRCC’s Public health liaison unit were very responsive.
Thank you very much, i landed over 3 years ago in Toronto and carried out all the tests there but has since moved to waterloo, i just hope they respond to my mail so that i can show them the results and hopefully they will be satisfied to help update IRCC too.

Since those are health records they will find it somehow. It doesn’t disappear. Just matter of them being cooperative. So you completed medical surveillance via Toronto Public health?
Thank you very much, your questions triggered me to go and check my files and found a letter from the Toronto Public Health stating that i complied and that i did not need to send that letter to IRCC, do you now advise that i send the letter to them? I have just mailed them with my details.

There are 3 parties in this situation in my opinion. 1-IRCC Visa Office(VO) which puts on hold for condition 32 and request update on the file. 2- IRCC Public Health Liaison Unit (PHLU) responsible from updating your file. 3- Regional Public Health. (PH)
In my case VO asked me to reach out PHLU to update my file.
I reached out PHLU and then they requested PH to update PHLU.
I had my own records in hand (a letter from PH back in time I received for completion of surveillance),so I offered PHLU that but they refused and asked for PH to reach PHLU directly.
I reached PH and then they found out what’s wrong and informed me that they updated PHLU again.
Later PHLU sent me a new email which states I am in compliance and they updated my file.
I called IRCC twice to confirm if they received the update. But I didn’t get a clear answer in my opinion.
I didn’t see any progress in my application then I sent PHLU’s email to IRCC via webform.
I saw acknowledgment notification in my tracker regarding additional document but still no progress. Waiting for DM/LPP since Feb 13.
That’s why requested GCMS to be able to see if condition 32 cleared or not as one post mentioned here that they confirmed clearance by GCMS notes.
I am not sure what stage you are in right now. It might differ in your situation.
Thank you so much, the stage im now is that i received a mail IRCC (perhaps a case officer) that i should share my UCI and other details with the PHLU that they need to clear me of condition 32, i did that immediately but after reading your thread, i looked for and found a compliance letter from Toronto Public Health to me saying i have complied and that they have informed IRCC so that my file can be updated.
Same yesterday, i scanned that lettter and sent to the PHLU of IRCC too and hopefully, that will help them to confirm that i complied and wont ask me to tell TPH to directly reach out to them, that will be an issue, it is a hell getting these guys on phone.

In my case PHLU office was also very responsive(replied all mails on the same day) but even though I sent the letter in my hand they still requested PH to reach them. I hope they accept your letter.
Thank you, I sent my emails yesterday in the afternoon so I will wait and hope they respond today. If they dont take that letter, it will be a difficult task for me to get TPH to reach out to them, they don't pick their calls., i will keep you all posted, thank you soooo much

I hope so too. Yes additional information is required and that waiting on you are still there, i will watch for the next few days as all these happened between yesterday and today.
