Citizenship certificate - Winnipeg office

Mine was closed on December 1, Didn't get the certificate yet. I have travel on 9th December. Hope i can get it tomorrow.

Mine was closed on 25th and the system was updated on the 29th.

Can anyone share there observation if anyone has requested for urgent dispatch of certificate from this office and if they were entertatined or not ?

If yes, then in how many days they got certificate ?

Mine is on Dec 19 and i have a work related travel plan on Jan 15. I have booked ticket and a letter from HR which i sent to my original processing office Niagara falls, last Tuesday and i got scheduled for oath this Monday.

So, i think then this office may have vacancies to have more candidates and thats why they accommodated me

They don't entertain it, I requested them in my ceremony and the lady said right away to postpone oath as we cannot deliver it in two weeks. If you have three weeks you will get it.

I received my certificate in the mail this morning. Nov 21 virtual oath, 28th oath ceremony complete, 30th Application closed. I am located in GTA.

Did that lady mentioned abt 3 weeks ? Did she ask abt reason if its a personal tour or a work related tour ? Can you please tell me a little bit more abt this

She said it might take 4-6 Weeks, 3 Weeks is rough estimation these days for most of the people. She asked from me about my travel plan, i told her that i have travel in 2 Weeks, I also told her its personal urgency. She said you should postponed your travel or your oath, So i couldn't argue it more. You should be able to get it with in 4 weeks looking at the trend.

Ok finally got the hold of the agent, my last office was vancouver, seems like they mailed yesterday from vancouver as well, that means the Winnepeg had to send it first to vancouver office, now they are mailing it to me .... I do not understand how come they have to send these papers around, why cannot just issue from here with pick up services ... so inefficient ...

Yeah ... you will get yours soon too, It takes 2-3 weeks, I just got mine, applied for passport, next week will get the passport!

Anyone else requsted for expedited dispatch of certificate ? And what was response ? Any flexibility by agent to entertain the request

I too took Oath at MB,SK office on Dec06 and requested the expedited dispatch through email and over zoom call.
They said it will still take 2-4 weeks.

I guess the correct way is to request it before the ceremony along with all the required documents, at least, to this winnipeg office. I sent them this expedite request on this Sunday, and i just spoke to IRCC agent over the phone, and i was informed that my expedited request has been approved and they will be sending it through Xpress post.

My oath is on Dec 19, now i will see how does it go on Dec 19, and i will update how was my experience and do they really tell me the same what i was informed by the call centre agent.

Just had oath ceremony today. @ 2 pm EST with MB SK office.

It took almost 1 hr 40 mins for the whole proess, very fast.

Since my expedited duspatch of citizenship certificate was already approved so registration clerk informed me of it too...

Sent the affirmation of citizenship form soon after 10 mins from the oath ceremoney end time.

Hope citizenship certificate arrive soon now and tracking details of xpresspost from canada post is shared by MB SK office which they said, they will share once its shipped. They asked me to contact back on Friday if i did not get the tracking details by then.
