Please help me with some effective links for study for test. Also any tips and tricks would help a lot!
I am really behind on study and test is on May 16th!
I will write test in Saskatoon.
TIA

I'd add, try to study and understand the content of each chapter separately. You may want to also get the MP3 version (I listened to it while driving and it helped); and there's absolutely no need to buy any test.

Added you to October sheet of global 2017 tracker. Link is in my signature. Do you know your test invite date?

Allow 20-30 minutes for updates to reflect in tracker.

Hello Everyone!

What is usually the dress code for the oath ceremony? Don't want to be the only guy wearing a suit o_O. lol

Approaching a month since decision was made on April 19th and still no update. So stressful with work travel over the summer and not knowing when I'll need to be on Canada for the Oath.... No questions for the forum.. just venting lol

Folks, I took the test at Scarborough yesterday, April 16th - drove in the worst possible weather from Mississauga for the test at 11.45 am. The test itself was super easy and I got 20/20 but the citizenship officer was certainly one of the toughest and least prepared to deal with the peculiarity of my application (or 2nd time application for grant of citizenship).

She handed out the Residency Questionnaire requesting a host of documents from record of employment, OHIP record, tax returns, home lease/purchase agreements, bank statements, & child's school attendance records. CIC had misplaced my residency calculation & I had thankfully a spare copy of the same with me available to handout to the officer that led her to strike off the request to provide the same once again.

Given my extensive travel history due to work, the officer seemed challenged with going through over 9 pages of my residency calculator in reference with CBSA ICES record, FOIA based US Entry Exist Record & my Pages of my passport that carry all the stamps.

It seems the officer didn't have the competency to go through all the details of my applications within the time perhaps allocated to my interview. It may be fair to assume that even after I respond with all the items requested my file will land with a Citizenship Judge.

While, I wanted to provide the above experience for all those that may have a rather complicated application, my main objective is to find those applicants that have been waiting to see a Citizenship Judge.

How long to get to a Citizenship Judge?

Thanks & regards,

Mohit

Ka-ching!
I recognize the officer (by her behavior!)
LOL
I bet yours was a 40-ish Caucasian lady in glasses, who took you to a separate room for the interview.
I was STRUCK by just how much of a scatterbrains she was!
Nearly forgot to have me sign the green form (I had to remind her!), didn't pay any attention to my IDs, tried to give me a list of extra documents to supply, but the list kept changing every time she dictated it to me.
Unprepared (or unwilling) to take the required 5, 10 or even 15 minutes to go methodically thru my passport stamps and cross-check them against my CBSA report (isn't that the main objective of the whole interview!?!).
And (worst of all) TOTALLY convinced of her utmost power to request any kind of paperwork under the sun from me! For as long as she pleases!
This type of official will have no misgivings to drag my case on, for ever and ever ;((

We're in for a long ride, brother!

I don't know if the owner of the status spreadsheet is on this chain or if anyone there has write access to it but is anyone able to update or turn on the autocomplete on the calculation cells on the processing tabs? It seems the numbers on there are not in line with the monthly data tabs.

Thanks
