Hi All,

We have sent our application family of 3 on OCT 17 2017 and we received our AOR # on NOV 26 2017. In online our application has moved to "In Process" status on DEC 5 2017.
We received requisition (RQ) in JAN 2018 for the primary applicant and mailed the full package on FEB 20.
It's been over a month and we have not received any communication from IRCTC office.
How much time would it usually take? Can we call IRCTC?

Do we usually receive an email or mail for citizenship exam? Please suggest!

Thanks
CANVIN

It there is an RQ, it is already a non normal application. 12 month processing time period applies only for normal applications

Discover Canada is the only official study guide that you need to read multiple times to prepare for the test. There are online practice tests that can help you grasp the material better, but they do not represent the actual test very well.

20/20 guarantee??

So would it take more than 12 months now?

It may take more than 12 months (but it's not certain it will take longer).

It's out of your hands, so all you can do is wait.

And that's all anyone can do. It's in IRCC's hands. If they want information they'll send you a request, and if they want to invite you for the test or the ceremony they'll send you an invitation. The timing is completely up to them, though with the caveat that the criminality checks and security clearance are done by other agencies. Those checks, particularly the clearance, can take quite some time (and recent reports indicate they may well take longer in the aftermath of C6).

Even for regular applications the 12 month time frame is not a guarantee; 80% of all applications are expected to be processed in that time, but that still leaves 20% likely to overshoot that mark (or more, if they don't meet their goal).

I did my finger print in January-2018 and IRCC received it the following day through a confirmation email in response to my inquiry to them. I also did my citizenship test in February-2018 and passed the test. Since then no progress at all for myself and still in process but my wife had her status changed to decision day the day after the test.
For me now almost 7 weeks since passing the test with no progress? Is this normal?
I read someone mentioning here that I can order information details online regarding the details of processing my application I don’t remember the name but will it be useful?

Attach all those that are mentioned in the guideline. the test went good. Tips are to read the instructions well and double check your application. Another good tip is if you need any questions answered on this forum, then it is always a good idea to ask pointed specific questions and also state your case and background on the question. all the best.

Application delivered: November (already added to spreadsheet)
Test Invite: 3rd April 2018
Test Date: 2nd May 2018

Can someone please update the spreadsheet?
