When a decision is made on my application, do I get an email? or it will only be in my online account?
I was just wondering if I need to keep checking my status in the online account or not?

Thanks,

Good Morning guys! And Happy International Women's Day to all Ladies on this site.:)

I brief question: is there anyone who've got a Test Invitation from Toronto since mid Feb? Seems like Toronto applicants are at least a month behind.

Hello Everyone!

yesterday i and my wife finished test and we both passed the test. Just informing the test was easy but some questions were twisted. If you read answer carefully, then u will find correct answer. Not here to scare anyone, but highly recommend to read book 2 times and then start practice test. Don't just jump to practice test and remembering answer.

for E.g. the question was

one of the province is called as 'breadbasket of the world'. what does it produce?

the answer was grains and Oil seeds.
the other option was wheat.
so read answer carefully and take your time during exam.

the Interviewer asked our documents and she verified original vs the application one. At the end she told that she is granting citizenship to both of us and a mail with oath ceremony details will be available after 4-8 weeks.

Thanking you all for your help and wishing everyone who are almost there.

Hello everyone,

I have a question for a friend of mine
She had her application returned due to a printing error, her questions are as she is going to resend it tomorrow

1-should she send new application using new dates or just use the old application with the same dates as before
2- she didn't file her taxes yet as she didn't receive her T4, in her application she has 3 files taxes in the past 5 years should she send a cover letter explaining while her taxes hasn't been filed yet

I would appreciate your prompt answers

Filing taxes this year is irrelevant for her application. If she filed at least three tax returns in the five years that pre-date her application then she's set.

How about the dates, should she use new dates starting today with today calculator
or the old application should be fine and she include the letter she received in regards the printing error?
