For real? o_O
and here I am still waiting (Glorious Oct 16th)...........

Same here... Application received on Oct 16. Still nothing...

I tried to dial CIC twice to see where they stand. But, seems like they are too busy to answer. The call didn't go through.

few days ago it took me one hour to get in the queue then I waited for about 40 minutes to talk to an agent!

And was it useful? In most cases, agents can't (or don't want) really help providing you with some general explanations or info, you know even better than them (because you constantly research, read forums, check news online, etc.).

Last time I called in Oct right before filing the application, waited on phone for 30 mins... and realized that the time was wasted. The agent I spoke with couldn't give me any precise details I was asking for and referred to the Guide (which I checked 5 times and knew by hard).

I only talked once with an agent, my situation and question was entirely different from most of the people here, I had specific question about applying under urgent grant of citizenship. the agent asked me why do you think that you are eligible, then I explained my situation.. she asked me to stay on the line while she confirm my eligibility,... so I stayed about 10-15 min before she get back to me.. then she told me what are the next steps.. I found her quite helpful... BUT once I shared my experience here in this forum, other people made comments that they had heard different response for the same scenario.. my personal believe is the agents are providing legitimate or at least close to legitimate answers/advises cus that is what they do for leaving...

Wow. This is very frustrating. I was in a similar situation. A friend of mine sent the application together with me at the same time. She got her AoR 2 weeks ago and I got it yesterday. You may also send a case specific inquiry to ask for your file using your UCI number? I did it last week and they replied today saying that my AoR was emailed yesterday.

Friend of my sent his application on 11 October but returned because he forgot to sign! Then re-submitted his application soon after returned and got his AOR today November 24, 2017 !!!
How come so many of us still waiting? This is not fair :(

I'm quite certain that the inquiry had nothing to do with the AOR. IMO, it was a coincidence that you got AOR around the same time as when they checked the system in order to respond to you.

It is indeed frustrating watching folks who submitted applications after us get AOR and go in process before us. IRCC claims FIFO, but clearly it's broken.

I see most people of 11 October to 13 October got their AOR the trends shows the little left will get AOR in 2 business days .. there was a great progress .. last 2 days .. next week I expect 100 more to be processed close to 500 of the sheet .. God bless keep hope everyone :)
