Received oct 13 and no AOR

Me too. It is surprising and depressing as some people applications delivered on 20th too got AORs. Is it for creating a confusion. I check canada post mail box everyday if its got returned. Neither returned nor AOR. God only help and bless non AOR receivers, includes me too.

Same boat. Received october 16. No AOR yet and no application returned. I'm waiting one more week and if nothing, i'll give this information directly to ircc minister.

I called ircc twice this week and they couldnt give me an appropriate answer. Just that my application is not open on their system. I'm house of commons agent and i think that its a time to meet with some mps or directly with ircc minister to give a follow up of this issue. Its weird

I was told same that application not entered in the system yet. From my precious experience to sponsor my wife I faced same situation my app was not entered in the system when I called CIC. The agent that time said if application is not returned and not yet entered in the system it means they have not Opened the application.
It is very common for call centre agents not to give accurate information

Hey guys just a quick question. Can I change my name (ontario) after I submitted citizenship application ? My application was delivered on 21st and has my current legal name on it , am I allow to make a name change application now ? Or I have to wait until I received my citizenship certificate?

Go for the name as in PR. If changed after PR same should be indicated in Citizenship application with supporting documents. If application submitted then wait and change after citizenship, that would be my suggestion.

I checked the CIC website by using my UCI number and saw the following information. If that means my application is in the process, then please update my status. Thank you

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on October 16, 2017.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada.

How do you check it without AOR??How did you know your UCI #? I thought we receive it when they send AOR

Your UCI doesn't change it remains same before and after PR
