any one tried to call CIC to clarify whether we can sign and send the application on Oct 11 or wait till 12th? i am trying to call them, not able to reach them yet

Hi All, have been follower of this forum and just joined.

I have a question, I have a Bachelor's degree from outside Canada and it was in English.

I have official degree certificate, degree transcript and IQAS equivelance certificate as well.

For proof of language which one of these should I attach or I should just send copies of all three?

Thanks all who provide help and guidance.

Thanks for clarifying that. I saw some posts saying that it must be mentioned on the certificate that the course was taken in English. That's why I got confused.

You are welcome! It's English or Frenc

Why would you call them, if it's Clearly said since OCT 11. 11 means 11 not 12 or 13 ;-)
So, when it's Oct. 11 by law you can apply;)

That question has been answered today at least twice. Please scroll up a bit, and you'll see where to get the info. Good Luck!

HI

i just called them the agent told me better to hold to sign on 12th

Are you trying to convince everybody to apply on the 12th, so you have a chance to beat us?? :);) Lol

Hi all
i had a legal name change outside canada after beeing a PR.I got the court document and the document linking both names, but i dont have a forreign passport nor id with the new name, cause i got the document after getting back to Canada from my vacation from my home country.Looking in the citizenship application i need to give supporting documents ,and a provincial id,i dont have any id documents cause in quebec they dont change ur name except after citizenship.
Question is should i change my name while applying (considering i dont have an Id of the legal name change only a courts document and an official document linking between both names) or wait till after the citizenship cause it will only drag my application ?
Thanks again for ur help all :)

you are funny man, no one needs to compete with you,

No mean to offend anybody! My apologies!
And with all my respect, what you are talking about is referred to those who accumulate 3 years exactly on Oct 11.

But show me these people!

In this case, the day is not counted coz by the time they apply, the day is not finished yet, so can't be put to complete 3 years. So, definitely, cic wants us to make sure, we qualify the day before application.

But... if by Oct 11 you have 3 years Plus, you have all right to file the papers.

Does it make sense?
