Yes, you can use your expired IELTS (general exam) but you have to provide a copy of it (better to be colored)....

I have a scanned soft-copy of my IELTS results that I used during my PR application. Can I take a color printout of it and submit?

It is about 3/5 years physical residency - a major component of Bill C6 amendment (from a personal internal source).
Please all get your documents ready to apply for citizenship!

Edit: ignore my previous response. It says "photocopy of language evidence" in the checklist, so I assume it's fine.

Expired test results, if previously used for immigration purposes are accepted per the instruction guide.

Did your source tell you what will the announcement be.... it could be "we are implementing the 3/5 rule now" or " we re implementing the 3/5 rule in 5 months"

I am interested to know....

in other news, a new governor general has been sworn in. so know that in case you are been asked in your citizenship test. ;)

Logical to expect some news about the 3/5 rule implementation date tomorrow. There is pretty much nothing else left in the Bill.
Everybody is waiting for this "Second round of changes" to take effect. I believe all of them will be enforced on the same day.

But once again, we'll see it tomorrow! Good Luck to everybody who is applying!

Because Minister Hussen wants to play Candy Crush while making the announcement :)
I logged in just to laugh at this one! :D:D:D

Is it only my phone or they are actually updating the CiC website. I cannot access. hmmmmm maybe updating their forms.

Perhaps a lot of people are checking in.. or their IT department is working hard on changes and want to make sure that everything is up and running during ministers speech!

Great to see lot of smilies here lol :)

Btw does anyone remember that website crashed earlier as well when President Trump was elected due to traffic surge.

There is no explanation of the website crash other than updating the forms, the physical presence calculator and other text about the new citizenship rules
