Citizenship Applications after Bill C-6

Hi all immigration experts,

Congratulations to all who have already got AOR and good luck for those who are in the process right now.
Friends, I have also few queries regarding Citizenship Application and I hope you guys will help me and I will really appreciate. I will start from this question.

Q.1: In 2016, I worked with and employer in two different provinces. Ontario and Calgary but Employer has office in Ontario only. He issued me two T4s. One for Alberta and one for Ontario. But in both of the T4s, he did write my Ontario address. Now should I mention my Calgary address in application too while this address is not there in my Alberta T4 ? Secondly, What information IRCC will take from CRA ? They will verify this too where I have been living ?

Expired PR card doesn't effect on Citizenship application.

Great , in case I want to travel outside Canada for a month or so then renewal of PR is mandatory.

My suggestion is, like you have been advised already, just write an explanation - You have the knife, and yam - you want to know how to cut it?

Like you said several people are still waiting. That spreadsheet only represents a very small fraction of the actual number of people that have applied.

My application was also delivered on the 13th. No AOR yet ...

I really don't think people should go by the actual date your courier delivered the package. I sent on Oct 12 And delivered on Oct 13, I got AOR on Nov 10, and then when I check ecas, it say application delivered on Oct 16. That means they don't really sort them out accordingly

Interesting. I thought it's based on Delivery date.

Next week some C6 people will have had their AOR for 2 weeks - I wonder if we will start seeing Some IP among those people ...

Based on these 12 months data the average Processing time from Application Delivered to AOR is 23 days.
If your application was delivered to IRCC on 12th or 13 October 2017 then you should get your AOR already or by tomorrow November 13, 2017. If not then your application is taking longer than average time !
