You can go to the spreadsheet to trackHello guys, i am new in this forum, but since 10 years in Canada!
App sent 26th Oct, received 30th. When do you think that i will receive the AOR?
you are right, we all gotta get our citizenship sooner or later.. however it is kinda fun sharing our story in a forum... the amount of support from others is splendid!Location doesn't matter at the AOR stage
Last 5 years = eligibility period, so:I was calculating times. I am way above the 1065 mark with around 300 days extra. While using the physical presence calculator, they asked me for my previous status in Canada and dates. Here are my 2 questions
#1) Do I need to give all the dates or just the last 5 years? Like I came as a student but that was more than 5 years ago, do I need to mention that as well?
#2) If the answer to above question is NO, then for my status change to work visa, do I need to provide date from which it was granted or FROM date could just be the date which is 5 years ago?
#3) If the answer to question #1 is Yes, then I imagine if the visa is renewed, I don't need to mention every time a visa is granted as long as I renewed it before expiry.
you may misunderstood me. I mean location doesn't matter for AOR stage, only matters when your file goes to the local office because different offices process at different speed.you are right, we all gotta get our citizenship sooner or later.. however it is kinda fun sharing our story in a forum... the amount of support from others is splendid!
Yup...we applied 2 days ago..a family of 6...i still have a headache from the amount paid lol..but it is worth every penny Good luckPlease Add me :

Sorry, I meant to add me to the list of people on that Google Sheets. I sent the message on the 8th but no one added me so I'm reposting it...whats wrong with your previous application
Physical Days: 1526Just also add your physical days in Canada and your present physical location as well
If you don’t plan to leave Canada after your return in 2019 then you don’t need to renew itDear Guys,
I become permanent resident on 8 June 2016 and then left Canada on 10th July 2016. Now requirements have changed and I am planning to go back in June 2019. My PR will expire on 08 Jun, 2021.
To complete my 3 years requirement do I need to renew my PR card which will expire in 2021 and to complete 3 years requirement my time period will complete on 8 June, 2022.
Kindly advise in this scenario.

Yes you have to tell from the beginning when you landed as student

If there no gap between the visas (TRV) then mention straight away as one visa, Like :
Start date
End Date
OR
No. of years
In short, You have to tell them all of your Canadian history and they will calculate your Physical Presence by formula.
Landing Date
TVR dates
PR start date
Outside living Canada
Citizenship Application date
2. Yes (5 years ago)
3. Yes (no need to mention visa renewal)
These are two different answersLast 5 years = eligibility period, so:
1. No
2. Yes (5 years ago)
3. Yes (no need to mention visa renewal)
Righto, thanks but my PR will expire in 2021 and how can I apply for citizenship as my PR at that will be expired. Or you mean to say that I can't travel outside Canada once I finally landed after 2019. Really appreciate your advice. If you don’t plan to leave Canada after your return in 2019 then you don’t need to renew it
