They never asked to see my certificate when I did my interview but you never know every officer is different, but to be and the safe side you should take it just in case they asked for it.goodluck

Hi,
I recently had my interview and during the interview the officer said one of my entry back to canada from US is not in their system and he cannot see it.
I did made multiple road entries back and forth from canada to USA by road.
My question is if that entry is not accessible how will they proceed in resolving this? Will I get RQ or some other letter?
appreciate if some one had gone thru this before.

Thanks

Took the oath earlier today, so I'm officially at the immigration journey's end, 12 years after first coming to Canada as an undergrad student!!

At the registration desk, they just looked at my invitation letter and kept my PR card. The ceremony itself was quick and simple. You can hang around afterwards to take pictures with the judge. In the unlikely event your information is incorrect on the certificate, you can talk to the clerk after the ceremony to get things fixed. Also, the clerk mentioned to wait a couple of business days before applying for the passport to give time for IRCC's systems to update.

There was also a pleasantly surprising perk (at least to me) in that they give all new citizens a cultural access pass that allows free unlimited admission to national parks, museums and a host of other attractions across Canada up to a year after one's citizenship ceremony. I'm very much looking forward to taking advantage of that.

My best wishes to everyone whose application is still in progress - good luck!!

Cheers :)
