Citizenship application in August 2017

When you guys say the location do you mean the location of applicant or office location? Didn't we all send the applications to Sydney NS?
Also my application went in progress on September 21st but still I have not heard anything...I see people from October and November they are getting their test invite... Anyone else in the same boat?

When people say location, it is the location of the applicant wrt which office processes their application after the AOR stage. Agreed we all send application to Sydney and then the application is dispatched to various offices based on the applicants residence. For example, i am in ottawa, i sent my app to Sydney, Sydney checks for completeness and sends me AOR. After that, sydney sends the application to Ottawa office for further processing and is picked up by an officer in the ottawa office.

What is your timeline? where have you applied from?

Please review spreadsheet carefully and refrain starting rumors. The Only November applicant who has got test invite is an urgent application.

anyone still waiting for test invitation like me , delivered 18 aug , In process 20 oct , nothing since ..... no test no nothing .....
Montreal .... is it normal ????

It looks like the Montreal office is all over the place timing-wise. If you look at the "Processing-BC & QC" tab, you can see the Montreal specific applications and how they trend each month. They were/are incredibly slow for June and July, like outlier slow.

Have you tried calling CIC? I think this is one of those times were a call is actually warranted.

Pl update appeared n passed test on 04 Jan 2018, I just prep for 3-4 hr, test was really easy,
Ecas changed to Decision made on 06 Jan 2018
Waiting for oath taking ceremony.?

Please let me know the interview questions they asked, and what documents did you take with you on that day.
My family has to appear in the test on 16th January.

Please update my entry on Google Sheets:
Received Test Invite via email: 28th December
Test Date: 17 January 2018

Although the ecas says, "We sent you a notice on December 28, 2017 to appear and write the citizenship test on January 17, 2018 at 8:30 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.", but there is an attachment with email that has all the details including, location, what to bring, etc.
I am so unsure whether to contact CIC if I don't receive the promised mail, or the email attachment is sufficient. If anyone has/had a similar situation, please share your experience.

I think my record is still not updates on the Google Sheets. Can admin have a look!

Finally after giving my citizenship test on Dec 5, my application reached Decision Made today, Jan 09. My interviewer though was nice, she was slightly surprised with the number of times I visited the USA (my parents are US citizens so I would visit them 5/6 times a year) therefore I am sure she sent my file to CBSA for double checking my entries and exits. In anycase - now, I will wait like the rest of you for the Oath day.

The 5th line now reads:

We sent you a notice on January 8, 2018 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on January 26, 2018 at 10:30 AM. The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

Nothing after this.. I am getting annoyed and frustrated.
