Have 12 months time in hind sight for full process I.e. by July 2018 for passports. Anything comes before is handy

My application status switched to DM today, maybe it was on Friday since I checked in the morning and was still "in process".
Question to you, I have applied previously to renew my PR Card just in case a month ago. Should I call and try to cancel my application or they would know that I am in my last stages of my citizenship application and would just ignore it?

i would like to know if i should translate the stamps in my passport for citizenship interview ? stamps are in arabic (name of aeroport) but dates on it are in french

That sounds like the lebanese stamps. But anywayz I dont think you need to translate. I have personally the same type of stamps and I didnt translate them and nobody asked me to (especially that the dates are in French as well).

Anyone knows what is the average period of time CIC is currently taking to complete an application? It was about 4 months before, but it appears to have increased lately.

on their website it says 12 month for average processing

My ecas showed a notice was mailed to me on December 7th to schedule exam for Jan 11th . But I have not received any mail . Is anyone in the same spot ? How long it takes for this cic mail to arrive . I was wondering how I will find out about the exam details if I don't receive the mail . Also this mail should be the confirmation or proof that I was notified for exam ? Any suggestion would be appreciated.
