Myself and my wife finished and passed citizenship test and interview today. Everything was smooth. Test was simple. Just read the book and do some sample test. Interview was about regular day to day stuffs. Hope to get the DM and oath invitation soon. Wish you best of luck for those who are waiting for Test.

hi good morning i able to login in ecas but on that my mailing address is the old one which i never wrote on application so i call cic in morning to change it the agent told me it will take 14 days to show on ecas but on there end they change it and moreover she advice me if still not change on ecas then send webform to IT department to correct it thanks

Hi,
I've found your post here and I have a similar situation; My home address in cic website is my current home address but my mailing address is my old address when I applied for PR, both addresses in Canada but in my citizenship application I set both home & mailing addresses to my current home address. I was following your posts and apparently your address update was supposed to be effective after 14 days; Did the proper address appear on your cic profile? After 14 days? What's the best way to do this? Do I do this online? Phone cic?
Thanks a bunch!

Exactly same my ECAS, the mailing address is the old address in Syria and the home address is my current address here in Canada.

Hi alsaour,

This is the same question I asked gaggi10, I'm asking you as well because I dont know how to reply to two posts in one question. Hopefully one of you will reply soon and I can sort out this address situation.

Hi guys,

This is something that happened to many people including myself. All you need to do is to submit the form on ecas for address change online, then if you want you can call IRCC and check what they see on their end.
For me it never changed even after months until I got a test invite then at this point only it changed. As long as the agent tells you they are seeing the good address at their end you're good and you can ignore what is showing on ecas. I know it's annoying but it is what it is.

Thanks
Mickel

The test was very easy but the questions was phrase different from practice test on line some of the online test was very hard.but if you read Discover Canada a couple of times and try to understand it you will be find.dont let does online test scare you some of the sights are full of dramatic questions.Good luck

hi all, I have a question about the test. My city only carry citizenship test twice a year( I have been told from others and it is April and September). I am living very close to Calgary and I am sure Calgary has a way more tests every year. Is that possible or someway I can tell cic I want to go there for my citizenship test so I can have a faster progress? I already ready for my test and if it will be next April I probably will spend more time and re-view the study book again, so bad. Please help! Thanks a lot!
