Citizenship application in August 2017

I was one August applicant who didn't receive AOR, then I called CIC helpline 1-888-242-2100 and selected options 1 - 1 - 4 -1 and given my tracking# to them ... within 5 hours I received my AOR .... they sometimes need to trace your application .... customer care is normally busy ...keep trying every 30 minutes ....

sorry what is it track no# ??? did you mean the application no# ????

Changed immigration law says that a person of 54 or above will not be required to appear in citizenship test. How would these changes affect a person who applied at an age of 53 years and 10 months and becomes 54 year old a month after the law changes? Will he/she still be required to appear in the citizenship test?

Oh is it.when I contacted Cic they said they have not received any applications with my name ,said me to wait for 1 more week .
And resubmit the application all over again.
I’m not knowing what to do...

When I contacted cic they said they have not received any application with my name
.they said me to wait for 1 more week and resubmit the application again
I’m not knowing anything.......

It's a full Residence Questionnaire, the envelope enclosed the following:-

1.) A physical presence questionnaire
2.) A list of required documents
3.) A letter requesting fingerprints
4.) A form requesting a reference
5.) A consent from

Believe me, they didn't leave anything they want it

So weird with these requests. Dont worry and be positive. ultimately, you will get the citizenship.

The Letter dated was October 17, 2017 and received on October 24, 2017

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on August 23, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on September 26, 2017.
3. We started processing your application on September 28, 2017.

I also revived finger printing on Oct 12, Which I have already submitted my office is St. Clair Toronto
