They told me today we're open the application on Aug. 18, 2017How come CPC giving different processing dates to us ... They told me it is Aug 18 applications been processed .... and to someone said Aug 25 applications been processed .....
Now my concern is, if they send the application back for any reason, should we apply based on new forms/rules and are back in the line at the end of it, should we chose we have applied for Citizenship and were rejected earlier etc... Lot of unknowns...I was hoping that the c-6 would take some time to be implemented ,., bad luck ,, hoping that they will use more source to confront the flood of next week
You must be eligible to apply for Canadian citizenship the day before you sign the application form or earlier. We’ll send your application back to you if you date it:Now my concern is, if they send the application back for any reason, should we apply based on new forms/rules and are back in the line at the end of it, should we chose we have applied for Citizenship and were rejected earlier etc... Thanks. You must be eligible to apply for Canadian citizenship the day before you sign the application form or earlier. We’ll send your application back to you if you date it:
"From the CIC Website"
- in the future
- more than three months before we get it
Whenever they receive the complete application, rules at that time will apply, In case you have to submit the application again then the rules prevailing at that time will applyThanks.
Maybe I was not clear.
I was for sure eligible for applying for a citizenship 4 months prior to whenI applied for Citizenship by the rules back then (4/6).
My question was, let's say they send back my application for whatever reason now, should I
1) use the new forms under 3/6 starting Oct 11 to submit missing information or can I still use the old forms?
2) Since am sending my application again am I back in the line based on the date when they receive my updated application or does it still carry my Aug 28 th as received date.
3) in the application formthere is a section where you need to answer if you have previously applied for Citizenship, what should I fill n there?

In my experience:Thanks.

Thanks a lotIn my experience:
1.They attached an extra information form what about your missing and you should provide the missing and just put the current date with your signature and without any changing to your main application resend them back.
2. Unfortunately they don't keep your turn so once they received your application in second time you will be the end of line because for me they got my application in July and for some reason returned to me, I resent them and they received on 21 August, so far I have never got mt AOR which is terrible around 2.5 months
3.If they want you something in your application, they clarify you what to do so I think it's not necessarily to answer that. If for any reason you need to withdraw your application then you need to answer that in your new application.
Hope this information which came out from my experience could answer your questions.

Wondering if let us know what is in your line when you check the eCAS ?
