Citizenship application AOR

I am new here.

I also applied for citizenship and have some questions if you dont mind.

I mailed my application on Dec 7, 2017 and it was delivered on Dec 11, 2017 according to UPS tracking. Until today (Jan 28, 2018), I have not received any correspondence yet and the online status says that it was not yet received nor started processing.

Based on some people's timeline, it appears that mine is taking longer or might have some issues. Now I know that processing is different per person but I was wondering why until now no confirmation yet that they received my package. Is this within normal?

Please refer to the spreadsheet in my signature. October applicants are still getting AOR, so the call center agents and/or whoever sent you that letter are bullsh*tting.

Copying a few example timelines from the sheet for your reference. All these October applicants got AOR this week.

when we send the application i put the application set in a cover and did not put any address or whatsoever on top of it. but its inside the courier package.
does this ring any bell for not receiving AOR??

It's normal. Several November and a few October applicants are still waiting for AOR. Give it a few more months worst case.

I don't see this as a problem. As long as your application was sent to the correct address, and is complete .. you should get AOR. Chances of them losing any applications are very very slim.

Some people from October and November are waiting for AOR.
Mine took 10 weeks. There is no specific time period after which you should receive an AOR.
If you dont get it after 8 weeks. Contact your MP

thanks, will keep this in mind. it's just 2 weeks more before it would be 2 months after delivery. if by that time no AOR, I will try this advise.
