I have a question about Question 6E in the Adult application form CIT0002.
Question 6E
Write all your Canadian addresses for the last four (4) years, including the postal codes.
If you were residing, employed or attending school outside Canada, you must also list all your foreign addresses, including the postal codes.
Let us assume that during the past 4 years I lived/worked/studied in Canada. However, during this period my employer sent me abroad on a business trip (or I visited my family) for a month. Shall I list the address of the hotel (or family) address where I stayed? It should be noted that during these visits I was still paying my home rent in Canada and my employer paid me my regular salary.
In other words, shall I answer Q6E using
Form1:
From To Address
01-2011 01-2015 Home address in Canada
or
Form2:
From To Address
01-01-2011 30-04-2014 Home address in Canada
01-05-2014 31-05-2014 Hotel (or family) address somewhere other than Canada.
01-06-2014 01-01-2015 Home address in Canada
In regard to the countries that I visited, I either had a visitor visa or it was home country. I did not work or study outside Canada during the relevant 4 years period.
On a more general note, What is the legal definition of the word reside in Question 6E?
Cheers,
Thanks
