St Clair office is bad news! My file landed/transfered there in August and hasn't been touched since then. 9 out 10 times; once a file is sent to St Clair is most likey for hearing which could take years *sadly*Jaroddz said:

Been 7 months since receipt of my RQ docs. Was asked to follow up after 6 months of submission. Last month when I called the lady on the phone said she had put a note in my file for them to respond to me and was asked to phone back after 1 month. I called up yesterday and the guy on the phone says I should give them another 2 months to respond.

am planning to apply for citizenship.....landed immigrat si52000.....out of country only once in 2009 for 3 months.....indian passport expired in 2009 and never renewed it....never applied for pr card either but working full time since 2009 with same employer.....kids born in canada in 2012 , 2013 and 2015.......reading the forum it looks like not having valid passport since 2009 might be problem.....should i apply now with extra documents like tax papers....job latter...bank statements.... i don't have all pay stubs saved ......or should i apply for new passport first.....don't even know what is the process for that......so upset with myself........thanks in advance

Very simple renew Indian passport and send a letter with citizenship application explaining why you didn't renew passport and simple answer is there was no plane to travel anywhere out of Canada.Amarpreetd said:

hang in there buddy, my lawyer told me to wait for 2 years mark (which will be the end of march 2017) hoping to starts seeing some movements, but also added that if the CIC wants to spend 10 years review your application they can do and nothing or no one can stop them from doing it, so that's depressing. we just have to be patient.andrew7007 said:

As I said earlier ours is a family application, my wife's decision was made in Sept 2015 so it is oath invite for sure. Cause my ATIP said I was scheduled for hearing so I guess, no hearing now and straight oath. Hope you too get a DM soon and subsequent oath. This is crazy with some of us guys being singled out.
