CIT 0520 after citizenship test

Guys today i checked my ecase and it finally showed "Decision Made" after almost 40 days of the RQ submittal Smiley
however i have a concern : do decision made means "approved" and taking the oath is the next step?

Our time lines are identical. My application too was submitted in March 2015. I too submitted my CIT 0520 on April 17. Was promised oath during my interview after passing my test in Aug 31, 2015. Mine is a family application though. Will be contacting CIC after Oct 22 which is when my 6 months from submission of RQ docs. Congrats to Moe.

Any update? I requested an ATIP last week and waitinf for the reply. My last atip stated they were checking my residency which was before they issued me an RQ.
Hoping for a favorable reply. My 6 months will be up on 22 Oct since they recd my RQ docs.

No update from me, i send all the documents to the lawyer for review and she doesn't seen anything that could trigger that RQ, but she's out together another deck (the same documents i submitted for the RQ) and attaching a letter stating the facts and the laws......... let's see, my 6 months will be Oct 29 since i sent the documents.andrew7007 said:
Called CIC since its 6 months after submittal of my RQ docs. The lady at the other end promised to put a note in my file to say that the process is taking longer than expected and to give me some reply. If I don't hear from them for a month, I am to call them up and ask again.

Jaroddz, Well that sucks. I ordered my ATIP a fortnite ago and waiting for it. Is it just the two of us in this thread? Was wondering why would they issue CIT 0171 to you when you already submitted CIT 0520. 95% of info sought in 0171 is similar to 0520. My next course of action will be to wait till Nov 22. If no feedback from CIC then will approach the MP with my ATIP. This is frustrating. What place did you apply from and how much will mandamus cost just in case.

I applied from Misissauga office and my application was transferred to st Clair ( workload transfer they said on the ATIP), as for the mandamus fees if you have to hire a lawyer it's realy depend on the firm, I hope you won't needed but in case you will make sure you pick the one with flat rate not hourly, my ATIP is showing that I was referrerd for hearing most likely to the CJ, and I don't know why!!! My lawyer went through my entire paper work and application ( application forms cit xxxx, supporting documents) she couldn't find anything that could justify me getting all those RQs which made me even more frustrated, she put all the documents togather and attached a long letter to the officer reviwing my file and send it to the CIC, wait and see....andrew7007 said:

I go both CIT 0520 and full blown RQ after I submitted same list of documents for CIT 0520
Well whats the update? did you give CIC a call on 29th. They are mentally torturing us for reasons best known to them. I find it trivial and unjust.
