My friends,
I made this topic as a source of the latest news which is coming from CIO center everyday. Many of applicants get XEP AOR , EP AOR, Medical requests and file transfer each day. We can have the latest news related to these matters here.

With a simple visit to this topic everyday, anybody can reach the latest HOT CIO news easily! ;)

I will update these information here every time a fresh news come out from CIO office.
 
Definitions:

Question: What is XEP AOR , EP AOR?

Answer: (by our friend FSWCIO):
When we get AOR from CIO we normally gets a unique number starting with EP which is our file number and a unique 8 digit number which is our UCI. Now a days CIO sending two separate AOR starting One with XEP and EP.

I found this in another thread, according to CIO officers:
XEP AND EP both are our file no.. XEP has X in front coz its still under inventory... when they input our details on system they send another email removing the X...and it means that our application is in the system and ready to process/send to VO and it's trackable in ECAS.

No AOR for April end applicant !!?! :-[
 
XEP AOR:
Latest XEP AOR was received on 04 JUNE 2015 for applications received by CIO on 13 APRIL 2015.

EP AOR:
Latest EP AOR was received on 09 JUNE 2015, XEP AOR for this application received by applicant on 15 MAY 2015, Application received by CIO on 13 MARCH 2015.

No, latest is for 13 Apirl.

Actually I want to celebrate the Christmas in Las Vegus after working for minimum one months in Regina. Need some extra bucks to spend innit ;D

In this case "EP AOR" received by applicant just 66 days after "Application received by CIO"! Its a very good result! ;)

XEP AOR:
Latest XEP AOR was received on 04 JUNE 2015 for applications received by CIO on 13 APRIL 2015.

EP AOR:
Latest EP AOR was received on 17 JUNE 2015, XEP AOR NEVER received by applicant, Application received by CIO on 1 MAY 2015.

In this case "EP AOR" received by applicant just 48 days after "Application received by CIO"! Its a Best result ever! ;)
 
Any XEP in the future?

Last news means everybody should say goodbye to XEP AOR because there won't be any XEP AOR in the future!

The reason is: CIO has a 8 - 10 weeks normal processing time in its workflow for processing received applications. Because of the very high volume of FSW2014 received applications in last quarter of 2014, CIO couldn't keep that 8 - 10 weeks processing time and for October, November & December 2014 received files, it took 4 - 5 months processing time to receive their EP AOR and because of that many of applicants tried to contact CIO to get updated information about their applications after 10 weeks defined time. In this situation, CIO made a solution to prevent applicants from contacting and inquiring their files. CIO just started to send XEP after 2 months to tell applicant: Don't contact us, Everything is OK and you must wait more to receive your EP & UCI number!

Now after 5 months passed from 2015, they just finished their received backlog files and then they easily eliminated XEP and they can easily send EP in their defined 8 weeks time frame and from now applicants can expect to receive EP in the first contact from CIO.

Good luck everybody!

P.S: But it is possible that the LAST XEP batch come out these days and after that there won't be any XEP AOR!, because as we can see, they have sent EP AOR for 10 April and then for 1 MAY in the last days and for 14 April to 30 April applicants there wasn't any XEP or EP AORs and it means there should be another (Last) XEP batch these days and it will be for 14 APRIL to 30 APRIL applications. In that situation CIO will start to send out EP for those applications immediately in the next days. ;)
