My boyfriend is an inland applicant. CIC received his application April 15,2015 and he hasn't got anything yet. Not even XEP. I am hoping that he will just get EP and that it will be in the next few weeks.

Have any inland applications from April 15th or later got XEP or EP?

For inland applicants it will take more time to receive EP AOR, The latest EP for inland applicants belong to 23 MARCH 2015. I think in the next two or three weeks your friend will get his EP AOR.

It seems to be the tendency, nowadays. Unfortunately inland applicants queues are slower than outland ones, I really wish to know how long it will take...

For OUTLAND applicants:
Latest EP AOR was received on 07 JULY 2015, XEP AOR NEVER received by applicants, Applications received by CIO on 13 MAY 2015.

CIO Processing Time: 55 days.


XEP AOR:

For INLAND applicants:
Latest XEP AOR was received on 06 JULY 2015, Application received by CIO on 1 MAY 2015.

My application was received on May 8 from outside. Till now, I have not received my fn. Many people who sent their applications to Cio later than me have received their fns. I forgot to add my studying period to Background declaration, which says that without this missing period, my application will be delayed. Could they return my application for such lapse? I am realllly worried about it. Help me, guys. Thanks a lot! :-\

First of all don't worry my friend. Nobody exactly knows what is really going on inside CIO these days because as we can see some Outlands got their EP AORs sooner than others but we can say all for example 8 MAY outland applicants got their EP AOR by now because there are only few applicants in this site and we don't have a comprehensive statistics showing all applicants situations. At the worst scenario they can return your application if it is not complete BUT it is not a really matter because If that happens to you, it means you only lost 50 days in your whole 10 months immigration process and at the end you will get your permanent resident visa like others but 50 days later! So don't worry my friend everything will be alright.

Bashu, you can expect AOR after 45 days from your CIO application received date.

As I know Accra is a little slow in among other visa offices. The whole process will take about 11 - 13 months at Accra visa office these days and after EP AOR it will take about 5 - 7 months for Medical Request and after Medical result received, it will take 4 - 5 months for Passport Request.

But as we know, waiting time is changing very fast in Canadian visa offices and it is possible in next months we can see a huge improvement of time for Accra Visa Office. It is possible the whole processing time reduce to 7 - 8 months!

That is a good news, I am waiting for my EP and hopefully will receive it tomorrow early morning India time
