Is that possible that they have just not seen that document? Remember this happened before with your Canadian relative's birth certificate!

Thank you so much for your comment. Well, just to give an update. We received our PCC from the Philippines. Now, all we have to do is go to the Embassy of Philippines here in Tokyo to get my husband's fingerprinted on the form and then after that we will send the PCC directly to the Canadian Embassy, Tokyo.

I just really hope they won't request for any other documents except passports. I am not even sure if our medicals have reached the Tokyo office from Manila. I wonder how long that takes too.

As for security checks, I think maybe by now it's over or soon it will be. Maybe they are just waiting for the PCC and once they confirm that everything is well in order then they can request for our passports for the issuance of our visas.
