CIC status: Requested documents

Hi everyone. I submitted my application 2 months ago and I just noted that my case status was updated on the last Friday as follow:

1.We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on January 13, 2017.
2.We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on January 26, 2017.
3.We started processing your application on February 1, 2017.
4.We sent you correspondence on March 10, 2017. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

What could this addtional information/documents be? Do they actually send out regular mail? I check my email inbox and the spam folder and found nothing from CIC. They did send the first acknowleging correspondence in email back in January though.

Yes they send out regular mail. Most likely yours is a fingerprint request. The letter will have all the information you need to proceed.

We had the exact same thing (only we did our test and interview before getting the notification that they need more information) and it ended up being a request for fingerprints for my wife. She did hers at Commissionaires. RCMP sent the prints report to CIC on Feb. 27 but CIC has still not confirmed that they received it when we called to check via the call center.

Ok... so correspondence could really be anything from the sounds of it. Which month did you apply in? I wish you all the best and a quick response plus movement with your file

I did applied my application on feb 14 2017 and they received my application on 16th of Feb then got my aor in march 5 and medical request in June 13 and medical passed in 22. So when did you applied ?

sorry can u explain ( you mentioned medical tests) are you applying for PR or Citizenship

Check also your SPAM folder in your mailbox. My two correspondences were there.

I too had the same line on my ecas..mine was regarding Schedule A..I have submitted my schedule A twice..one from GCKEY and other from IRCC..still there is no change in that line...What does this mean?
