A person has just become a canadien citizen. Can his son apply for citizenship, given that the later is not PR and is living in another country?

Just my opinion. If the forms are already available on oct 11 then I would sign them oct 11. But it s not a big deal waiting for a day or two!?

Maybe I'm wrong but between 11 october 2012 and 5 june 2014, as she was not PR yet, a day of presence counts only for a half, so 603 - 153 = 450 ----> 450/2 = a maximum of 225 days of physical presence should be included? Is it right?

Are you able to get a signed doc from the person who used to rent you your old place confirming you lived there? Also in my opinion, I would write both adresses in the application and enclose a letter explaining that living adresse differs from mailing adress during that period of time?!

Perhaps, give Cic a call? Also, If you have got your PR in aug 2014, then according to the citizenship law in place now, you do not fulfill the requirements yet! Hence, 1460 days of physical presence within last 6 years. Why do you bother ? Requirements are going to change soon, forms as well...

As soon as you complete 1095. As per the form you ll be asked to fill adresses and work for 5 past years, and you simply add the years when you were at home land before becoming RP.

Official processing time is up to 12 months. Until then the only answer you ll get is "everything's fine".

Sure, you don't bother because you are not citizen yet. Me either. However, it can help someone else who is citizen already. At the end of the day we are in a "citizenship" page.
