Hello Friends!

My paper application for PR (AINP) was received by IRCC on 27th Dec'17. I'm still waiting for the AOR. I'm not able to apply for BOWP until receiving the AOR, however, my current work permit is expiring on 15th March'18.

I've "204(c) letter of support” with the current employer name mentioned on it for applying new LMIA exempt work
Hi,
I think you do not need to wait for AOR/ File number to extent your work permit. You need to talk to your nominee officer and ask them for PNP spotting letter.( the letter mentions that you are nominated by the province and eligible for a two year work permit extension). You will be able to get a closed work permit to work with your current employer.

Date application received: 01/03/2018
AOR (Conditional): 02/13/2018

I had provided verification of birth document because I did not have original birth certificate. This is what they have asked for:

Birth registration/certificate The document you provided is not considered a valid Birth Certificate. Please provide a Birth certificate issued by the country where you were born. If you are unable to provide a Birth Certificate, please provide an Affidavit that includes the required information of: name, date of birth and parent information. Also include an explanation with full details as to why this document is unavailable and any documentation that would support your claim.

This must be received 7 days after receipt of this letter.

Our office noted that this application is currently registered on line with your MyCIC Account. If after 7 days we have not received your documents through your MyCIC account, your application will be returned to you as incomplete.

Question: Do they mean personal Affidavit or from a lawer ???

Hi,
You need to prepare an affidavit with the information all they ask you to include. Then get it notarized by a notary lawyer. You should be ok.
Best of luck

AOR: waiting

However, I got the email today:

"
Dear Sir/Madame:

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada under the Provincial Nominee program.

An overpayment in the processing fees you recently submitted to the Centralized Intake Office in the amount of $150.00 are being refunded. If you used a credit card or a prepaid card to pay your fees, we will issue a refund to the same card. Please keep it until the refund is complete to prevent delays. If your card is expired, we will issue a cheque instead. Refunds can take up to six weeks to process."

At the beginning of the email, there are an UCI and Application: EP00xxxxxx. Does it mean that CIC has received my application and when will I get the AOR?

Thank you for your help, good luck to everyone

Thank you for your answer. So I won't receive an AOR? There are some case that they never received the AOR. My concern about the AOR is because I am extending my bridge work permit, I need an active PR application to be able to apply. Please let me know if with the Application number is good enough.

Best Regards,

Yes, it got linked. I think I will be ok now because the file is exiting in the system so the work permit should be approved.

Last time, my work permit got refused because I applied before the PR application. They refused it because they can not find an active application on the system. Thanks again!

Ok good. Usually, applicants receive two emails(AOR emails) from cic. One includes you File number and UCI and the other one gives instructions to link application online. If you get it linked successfully, it will show your application staus online when you sign in to your account. I hope that would work for you. If you have any further concerns you can call the cic help desk and give application number (EPxxxxxxx) they will help you for sure.
All the best.
