They asked the following information:

"Travel History Info Form: Information on your previous travel history (trip duration and purpose) including citizenship and resident document information."
I wonder what should be the "Citizenship and resident document"?

I can only speak from assumption, because I haven't completed the form myself or received a request to complete one as yet, but I assume the 'Citizenship and Resident document' is the document that gave you the authority to travel to the country in question. So, for example, if you're listing that you traveled to the US, you'd have to list that you have a B1/B2 travel visa...or something like that...

They have asked this for my wife although I entered the data in the web form when applying and later again when I provided my own travel history. They sent me the exact same form asking me to fill the form.

I am sure there is a reason for it but the communication from CIC on this is terrible at best.

I'd guess that would be passport as that only seems like 'Citizen and Resident document' to me. Did you upload all stamped pages of passport?

So it's exactly the same as the message that I have received. I wonder why they'd ask for the same information again even when all stamped pages our passport have also been included with the passport.

So you're saying you received two requests, one for yourself and then later for your wife?

I have uploaded all of our passports for 10 years. I first received a request to complete the travel history for myself and my spouse. The form has separate sections for the main applicant and for the spouse. So I uploaded both my and my spouse's data.

They came back asking the travel history for my spouse only, and a background check form too.

That's really weird of them. If they find anything lacking or any discrepancy they should rather directly ask for it.

I got the request too on top of them wanting a traffic history from Australia.

I uploaded a new traffic history thst shouldn't be an issue.

As for the form, I'd rather be safe than sorry and am including all trips from my origin country (Germany) and country of residence, (Canada).

I now noticed thst I made a mistake in my submitted travel history. I indicated that I visited Germany in 2011-06 when I actually landed in 2011-05.

Should I did this and explain it was a mistake due to me not having my old passport or rather leave as is.

I just don't want them to think I was misrepresenting myself.
