Hi, anyone can tell me how long its gonna take once it shows decision made on sponsershop application status and still shows in process on permanent application status. How long they gonna take?

Did your "Sponsorship" status change around september 7th?
If so, it seems like many people got that the same day; and to my understanding it was a glitch in the system. Many sponsors that received the letter indicating the eligibility to sponsor months earlier, only saw the change online that day.

Have you received the letter stating your eligibility?
Is you application sent to the visa office in your country? (this happens after passing the sponsorship eligibility)

There is no exact time to say, the processing times stated on the CIC site is a good indication

When you received your SA indicating that the application was transferred to VO, how long will it take before you receive PPR? Thank you!

That is totally dependant on the VO and the case materials.

Thanks for the quick response, I just can't help but ask, since eCAS is not updating on time, and I am having a hard time linking to MyCIC. Been seeing a lot of fast processing for family sponsorship. I ama little confused getting an answer to what I have in my eCAS status, "Medical results have been received" on Permanent Residence Application Status and "We started processing your application on September 2016" for the Sponsorship Application Status, yet we received the SA stating that the file was sent to VO.

Can you please enlighten me on this if you any idea or comments? Thanks a lot. hoping that our application will soon be approved.

ECAS updates daily. MyCIC is broken for now (at least today). If you received a notification that your file went to a VO, it sounds like AOR2 (AOR1 is sent when they acknowledge receiving the application). Of course, it depends too on the application type (inland/outland).

My Self Yogesh i live in canada last 2 years as a PR i just wanna know about spousal sponsorship for my wife. she is indian and she live in india right now.we are married in april 2016 and than i came back in canada may 2016 when i came back than i will prepare all the documents and then apply for a family spousal sponsorship in last week july 2016 but the cic website they show me.

1.We received your application for permanent residence on August 2, 2016.

2.We started processing your application on September 14, 2016.

3.Medical results have been received.

So Sir how long it wanna take for this file.

Please help me.
