CIC Phone Number

Hey Guys

Can anyone help me out with the phone number to contact CIC?

My AOR was on the 7th of November and my IP1 status change was on 23rd November.

Since then I am stuck on IP1 and wanted to call them to ask.

But not sure what number I should use. Can someone help me out? Thank you!

This doesnt seem to work from the US. It says "Call cannot be completed"

I think people use Google Hangout or Skype to call that number. I tried it from US number but it won't connect.

You're doing it all wrong man. That number can ONLY be accessed from within Canada.

Here is the external number: 1-613-944-4000 (just listen to the operator and follow instructions). Note: those lines are ALWAYS busy but after enough tries at diff times of the day you will be able to connect to a rep.

I'm surprised other members weren't aware of this restriction..Kind of odd, strange, and misleading...anyway, hope this helps bud.

Thank you! I used the 613 number, but again, this number keeps saying that it cannot complete the call or is not available from your area. Let me try again.

You're using a normal cell service that is why. You must call through google. I tried and it worked.

I did just that. The problem is the call connects. So I chose options 1 (for english), 1 (immigration), 1(immigration) and then it disconnects saying that its not available. Do you happen to know the sequence of options to get to an agent?

I cannot recall off the top of my head..

How did this work? I tried from google hangout as well as google voice and my standard phone number and none of the options worked for me.
