CIC phone number

This is ridiculous. I keep reading in this forum that you guys are always speaking to an operator at the CIC but I can't seem to get through to a real person. I just keep going around in circles.

So guys, what's the secret? What number do I have to call and what options do I have to press to speak to a real person?

No secret. No secret phone number or tactic. For in canada (which is the number I'm using) is 1888-242-2100. When the lady starts babbling, I quickly press 1110 and it takes you to "an agent will be with you shortly" line. How do you get to talk to a real person? Try your luck. I was just doing it over and over...must have called about 30 times. How crazy!

I think it has to do with all the local offices closing.

There is ONE way that seems to be working is calling at 8am EST or JUST before 4pm EST. AKA Opening and closing time

Haha, this is also true. I once called about 5 mins before 8AM and I got right in. I was really surprised.
