Anyone from Fort mcmurray have any update?

No updates from me and I live in Edmonton. I'm in my 23rd month since applying and was planning on calling CIC and requesting a meeting. Anyone have any tips on how ti approach the call center with such a request?

I had my test yesterday. Everything went great, no RQ so far.
We should get the oath invitation in about 2 months if everything goes smoothly. We were warned that if we fail the test, the waiting time for the judge interview is 2-2.5 years.

They have finally send a team from Edmonton to Fort Mcmurray, they will be taking exams on 2 days June 4th & 5th and they have also send us an oath Invitation for June 6th if we pass..

so finally yeahhhh!

I saw the oath dates posted on CIC's website. I just hope I will get an invitation for the big ceremony on July 1st. That is the only posted date for Edmonton.

By calling the call centre and asking the agent about the date of transfer.

Call Centre telephone number: 1-888-242‑2100

Automated telephone service (available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week)
If you have a touch-tone telephone, you can listen to prerecorded information about CIC programs, order application kits, and check the status of your application.
Call Centre agents - Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., your local time, except for statutory holidays.
You must choose one of the first five recorded options before you can speak to an agent.
