I competely feel for you, mate.
I would like to believe that CIC is professional enough to not keep people on hanging status. If provinces can announce that they would stop accepting applications, I trust CIC would be man enough to do the same. So in the absence of official announcement, I am inclined to be in the positive side of things (i.e., no change in the rules of the game mid way).
Can't PGWP be extended like work permits? Maybe you can explore the option just to prepare for any eventuality?
