Hello,
Small question regarding CIC fee receipt:
I received an email with the receipt from fee paid to CIC. It has blank spaces for date of birth, address, phone number etc information.
Do I have to fill up that information before I send off my application? - or - just print the receipt as is.

Thanks

Yes you need to fill up the details, including Client-ID, before adding it to the package.

Yes, you print it out and fill up the blank in black ink.

It's the number on the front of your PR card (xxxx-xxxx)

Doesnt really matter because your fee receipt is attached with your application and your application contains all the info ......but you wont loose anything if you do fill it ...... you will find your client id on your proof of landing doc.

Hey Plus,

Actually, CiC wants the person who would be refunded the 'Right Of Citizenship' fee in case the application is denied to write his/her details on the online receipt. If the receipt is not filled up, then any refund would be sent to the applicant(s) instead of who actually paid the fee. CiC only cares about the exact payment, not WHO pays it, and whether the receipt has all the details.

Just my 2 cents!

ok one more -
I paid my fees 3 weeks in advance of becoming eligible, is that ok?
I mean if I become eligible on March 1, I paid the CIC fees on Feb 7 to avoid last minute errors and delays.
Is this ok?

Thanks

as far as the money is there, who cares. you should be good. ONLY sign the residency form and the main application form and DATE them when you are eligible...
