I guess that was the issue!

According to cic, police certificate should be issued not more than 3 months before submission.

Apply for a new one and submit ASAP .

my company too got the call from the cic and ask whether i work at this location at this position but unfortunately he was a new guy he said i work here at this position but he dont know much about this so better you call my boss he has given my boss number.
but they didnt call me or my boss then i am worried because i left the job and province so cic will call again because i didnt get my AOR yet but my credit card is charged 2 days back.
Guide me.

do inform cic abt ur job chnge or location if not it will adversely effect
so better inform cic
cic will for sure call ur boss again to confirm as they did in mine case.my boss was nt available so dey call him again very next day

well they call me after medical and interstingly aafter calling they send me rprf req immediately

Oh....I paid RPRF upfront with my application. I did not send bio-data that time as I am not aware of it that time. Medicals were received last month by Cic.

Can you please tell what information they will ask manager when Cic calls? So that I will tell my manager to be ready with info.

From your other posts, I can see CIC received your application on Oct 28th..... It has been only 1 month, are you saying CIC already called your work? That is FAST!!! Good lord, who knows what is happening with CIC's process.

May be more surprise is waiting ahead.

how can i inform CIC about my change in job, address, Phone # and province when i didnt get my AOR.

I completely agree.

Guys, now while there are caps for most of jobs (NOCs), they have to verify employment at early stages, otherwise they will end up with hassle with quotas.

Sounds reasonable. Might be for NOC B jobs only, though.

Also, wasn't there a pilot recently where CIO ran some eligibility checks in the initial screening? Applications mostly fail on eligibility, so the earlier they check this the less work for VOs.

It'll be interesting to see how applications fare in the next weeks.

Hello Everyone,

My employer got a call from Immigration and employer took the call was in the meeting so she replied to call you later. My employer forgot to took # from her.

I am nervous hmmm Will they call back or not? Another thing, Will it impact negative on my file?

Only thing I am worried now because they never called us back and its been 4 days now.

i am done with my medical in oct 2013 and its updated on cic .yesterday cic called my employer but he was not in office and then later on cic called me .he ask me why my employer dnt pick his call and i said he was not in office right now so he ask me about my job details like my job duties and all that stuff.we talk about 5 mins and he was talking normal and politely.i also ask him why he is calling as i already done with my medical he replied medical is differnt and thats not my concern and also i did not call my employer after talking to me .i hope he got his answers.
so heres my question,what should be the outcome of this talk and what are the possible outcomes,if anybody through this situation pls share

Could you please advise how far in the application cic called your employer? Was it an express entry?
