CIC Application - US Credit Check

Hi All,

I got my AINP nomination and applied for CIC application. I am expecting my Medical request and AOR to come soon.

Just want to know whether CIC along with the background checks etc also do US Credit History check. My credit score got weak in last couple of months. Eventhough, I am paying all the credit cardf debts, but it might take a little while to increase the scroe to a good level.

Pl. let me know what you guys think about it. Will CIC do a US Credit History check too before finalizing the PR application?

First of all Background check and Credit check are 2 seperate things. They might do background checks but there is no credit score or history check.

Many countries still even don't have a credit history system. As what I know, India introduced anything such very recently.

So if they start checking the credit score, they wouldn't be able to do that for everyone........that makes me sure to say that they don't do it.

What do other people say?
