CHRISTMAS EFFECTS VISA PROCESSING OR NOT???

Hey gals and guyys,

November is about to end and i heard that visa processing slow down in December due to Christmas vacation. Correct me if i am wrong....

You are absolutely right....You dont have to worry till "Dec 15",
coz, after 15th Dec or by 20th Dec, things will certainly slow down till 1st week of Jan. (till Jan 2'nd).

According to this list " http://www.vfs-canada.co.in/holidaylist.html ", its only shut for 25th, 26th and 27th December.

Well..I asked this from my consultants.they said so !..its very good news if it is closed only for 3 days ..thnxx royalsting !

Yep, they are only non functional for those mentioned dates. But I am sure Maherd you will get your Visa much before that so you need not worry.

@ Yana, I suppose its same CHC Islamabad and even your PP should show in transit soon.

as per the schedule it wont effect your processing.

Even if the Visa Offices are open, the Visa Officers hardly work during the Christmas/New Year week. So consider one week delays.........

I have submitted my VISA to CHC on 8th october and got the medical on 22nd November.

I ll be having my medical on 5th Dec and my classe are starting from 3rd January.

My Profile:
*Applied for M.A. (Economics)
*Done MBA with 3.3 CGPA
*B.com with 1st Division
*Intermediate with A grade
*IELTS 7.5 Bands
*Finance: Government Securities of 5 Mn.
Three Real Estate Properties having Mkt Value of above 10Mn (Professional Evaluation Reports send to Embassy).
*Also paid the one year fees to university in advance.

What u ppl think about my case??
