Dear all

I have valid Business Visa and my wife have valid visitor visa and we have visited Canada last year. I am planning to visit Canada again this year for business trip and through of taking my children as they have short holidays.
Hence, I have applied Visitor Visa for my children age 13,9,3 years. which they have rejected with below factors.
The Information in the travel and identify documents
The reason for the travel to Canada
The person's contact in Canada
The person's ties to his or her country of residence
The person's ability to pay for the trip and to support himself or herself while in Canada
whether the person is likely to respect the conditions of his or her admission to Canada
whether the person is inadmissible to Canada
whether the person would be likely to leave Canada at the end of his/her authorized stay.
Please help me should i reapply or not

Thanks

You are not satisfied that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident. In reaching this decision, I considered several factors, including

Family ties in Canada and in Country of Residence
Purpose of visit

Thanks

Please help me should i reapply or not

It is normally not advisable to apply for visitor's visa for your entire family if you don't have a very very strong financial and economic ties. You should have applied for one or two and indicate that they are travelling with either you or their other parent. Also going on business trip, you can't include children. It should be some sort of vacation. But you must be financially capable to do so. While other countries might grant you visa, it's always tough when dealing with Canada immigration offices. I will advice, you wait for some time, apply for one of your children or all to travel with their other parent for tourism. You can also make investments for your children and provide these documents. They help

1. What were the exact refusal reasons?

2. What documents did you submit for their applications?

3. For how long did you want to visit?

4. Are your older children in school?

5. Do you live with any other dependent family members.... for example, your parents?

6. Have your children traveled abroad to any other countries? Especially the US/UK/Schengen?

Dear Bryanna

Greetings for the day

Reason for refusal are Family ties in Canada and in Country of Residence, Purpose of Travel

Last years, I have applied Business Visa for myself and Visitors Visa for my wife which they refused due to travel history as my wife only travelled to Asian Countries, I reapply with clarifications and got long term visa for me and my wife both and we travelled together last year. It was business cum holiday for both of us for 10 days as I am tour operator in India and doing business from majorly from USA and few from Canada also. I want to promote my firm that's why i am planning to visit as business visitor for one of tourism exhibition in ottawa by end of march 2017 for two days. When I discussed with my wife and kids. Kids start crying that they also want to visit Canada as their final exams are over my march 23rd and they are on vacation for 10days before next session that's why i decided to apply for visa.
I am doing good business in Delhi and my wife is also working in one of the good company since 2005. both of us are earning well. we have five properties worth CAN $ 600000 approx in Delhi and have all family ties in India like my 70 years old mother , my brothers, nephews my wife's brother and sisters everyone in india.

Our kids have travellled all major parts in India and last year they visited Singapore.

I don't like rejection without genuine reason that's why i have to reapply. please advise and help me to right proper information in letter.

Thanks

i think what lashen says is correct... i would go with his advise

yeah brothers and sisters doesnt really count as connections back home, properties is a strong connection. and travel history internationally isnt great either (locally no one cares)

but seriously taking entire family out when you both have business visas sounds a little fishy - im sure since you are a tour operator you would know that as well...

1. I think the problem is that the VO looked at Business Visitor Visa which the purpose is "You are a business visitor if you plan to visit Canada temporarily to:

" look for ways to grow your business,
invest or
advance your business relationships."

Now why would you require your whole family to accompany you, if you are going for business purposes, to the officer, it looks like you are just going on holidays/

Dear PMM
I am growing tour operator and looking for new opportunities. Last year I have visited Vancouver as Exhibitor but this time I am planning to travel as Visitor to ottawa in Travel Exhibition because I had bad experience as Exhibitor. Thats why i thought of taking my kids alongwith me for short holidays as they have vacations during the same time. whats your opinion. Best Regards
