Childcare benefit procedure

Hi guys,

I have a question about childcare benefit. Although I have seen some threads here regarding CCB, but couldn't find the answer to my question.

As a newly landed PR, when do I start getting the CCB? Immediately after arriving or only after 1 year of residence in Canada (after declaring taxes)?

Could someone please explain the process in detail?

Fill out and mail to CRA, you don't have to wait 1 year to claim.
