Dear Crook,

Sorry for the late reply brother, You can send the copy of IELTS trf in case CIC did not return it. Best option for you is to get duplicate TRF from the organization with whom you had your exam. They will charge you a nominal fee.

Yes, this is correct & the best way to submit your duplicate IELTS trf. After the test, you can order as many additional copies of your TRF as you need providing it is within two years of the test date, though you will be charged for this service.

hey nitin n harry

i just called british council n they r saying that they will not give copy of trf...they can do so only if it is lost n for that we need to submit a fir itseems...i xplained about my case n wat she says is they need a letter from canada high commission on their letter head that originals are with them only then they will give a copy for 1750/-....

so funny

Crook, act smart my friend. There is no need to speak truth, you can go to police station and file an FIR. Provide the copy of FIR to British council and they will issue you a copy of TRF.

Other option is to wait till the package comes back ,but even in the return cover letter CIC will not mention that they have retained your original TRF. Sometimes in life one needs to twist the finger to get the ghee out ;D ;D ;D. Hope you get what i mean.

iam so confused...ok tell me harry one thing before anytthing...

should i. apply in july or wait till my appl is returned and then apply again

watvwould you do if u were me???some of them suggested that i wait till my appl is returned...

phewwww iam in soup

Crook, to file an application is a far out question. Please gather all the required documents first and if the NOC stays in demand and pops in the new list , then move forward. There is no need for you to take tension right now, best you can do now is to gather all the important documents.

Ok Crook listen very carefully. First of all, i totally agree with harry's point to gather all the documents which're required in the application process. I know that you're still missing one most important document i.e., IELTS trf. So here is the solution -

1. If you want to apply in early July, then get the IELTS copy by filing FIR into nearer police station. (as said by harry, act smart & get your work done)
2. If you can wait for another 1-2 month, so i will suggest you to wait for your documents which're already with CIC & then send the application. This will give you a confidence that you've now all the documents ready & whatever doc (like IELTS) which is required to add, would be in front of you.

Now my suggestions- I guess you're applying under Chef category instead of Cook. If this is the case, then i will strongly recommend you to wait for your documents arrived from CIC & then apply. Since Chef category doesn't get filled easily & if i take an example of last year's NOC List, CIC only approved around 300 cases, this means Chefs are not applying to CIC immigration very offtenly.

Now, relax and take your best decision which suits you. I hope above answer works for you !!

hey iam applying as cook....i know this also doenst get filled quite easily, but still dnt want to take risk.

i sent an enquiry mail to CIC lets see what happens...thanx for your valuable suggestions...let me think over it and decide what next..

if they cant process they can send my application back right i can plan ahead..this is so frustrating.

anyways God is testing me and i need to keep my cool....iam sorry to bother u bot so much but please be there for me whenever i need u guys....

thank uuuuuuuuuuuu......... :-)

Dont worry you will be fine and please dont be sorry ;D ;D. Follow the advice by Nitin and you will be alright. I am here for you always and we will get the visa in case NOC stays.

Hey,

I read all the conversation here. Ok what if he sents an email to CIC and ask them that he wants to withdraw the application and will apply in July 2012. And that he request them to send all his papers back specialy IELTS trf and let them know of British Council response about his trf.

This is just a suggestion. I don't know if things work this way. But no harm in trying. Atleast better than swinging in frustration.

Write a nice email and then shoot. what worse can happen and why. All you are asking is for withdraw and your papers.
