Just a warning, as this happened to me, the letter of acceptance wasn't included in my online application check list, and in fact I applied without attaching it, but thankfully I realized the mistake and I contacted them. The allowed me to attach it after submission, which you usually can't do. So my advise is to attach it with the letter of explanation if there are no fields called letter of acceptance.

Well mine didn't have that field, which I considered weird. But I thought at that time that they have received a copy with the CAQ sent to them, so that's why it wasn't required, and I was wrong. From experience submitting visa applications, this is the worst system I've encountered till now.

you should upload all documents related to previous traveling, which includes old passports. I uploaded the new and old passport stamped pages as one pdf file on the passport field.

hello doda. Shouldn't the old passport scans go in the letter of explanation field. It seems that the field is designated only for the valid passport. It clearly states that as the instruction when you click on the help (?) symbol beside the field.

Q1: Details of Indended Study in Canada should include the fee and living expenses for 1 year or the entire program?

lets say if the fee for my MEng program is $6500 per term,
that makes $13000 for 1 year and $26000 for two years and similarly the cost of living would be $14000 and $28000 for both years,
Which figure is to mentioned in the form??

Q2: I have been refused a US visa once, Do I have to mention that the BACKGROUND INFORMATION Section ??

Please reply asap as I am finalizing my application for visa!

They only ask for the recent passport. The one you will be getting the visa on.

They do not ask for old passports online.

Q1: From what I understood, it was the total cost of Tuition and total cost of Room and board. The instructions given here (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5269ETOC.asp#5269E4) they aren't clear.

Yes I am using the Guide 5269 to complete the form, it wasn't clear there... What have you or others filled in this? expenses for complete program and stay or the 1st year only

- Yaar I was rejected a student visa for US in 2011, The VO thought I did not have sufficient social ties in my home country... WTH can one explain about that to them. ab the same problem will arise here if I write the reason in the explaination,
He just said that "I am not satisfied with your home ties" (probably my phopho sponsored my abu for Us immigration... that was in the process... still is and god knows will when that would be... stuff like that takes years) MS kar ke bhi ajata ab tak toh! :S

if you have any property here attach property document that will prove ur home ties
