Hi guys,
I’m putting together my final document. I was wondering if people could tell me if I’m missing anything, or if anyone recommends adding anything else.
I’m still waiting for, or haven't finished assembling yet, items in bold
Thanks!
Gary

p.s. I know I’m missing proof of payment but I don’t know where I would put that. Same with the applicants passport photos. Where do I put them?

For 5669E, make sure the applicant fills out the history to 18 years old, and not recent 10 years. Important thing is no gaps in residence and background history (whether working, unemployed, etc.). If you lived at the same household since birth, say that...even better.

Any gaps or not back to 18 years old, the VO will ask for this to be re-done.

This is not a bad idea, but it is NOT a requirement. Some people have been asked to re-submit the form with data back to age 18, but this is not automatic; it all depends on the individual visa officer.

Thanks both. I'll make sure it goes back to 18. I only included in my personal history the following:
places I worked, periods when I was traveling, periods when i was a student and times i was unemployed.

i didnt include anything about where i was living - i figured that was in the places i was working part, where it asks which city and country you were in.

Do i need to include addresses?

Addresses of where you worked? No. just the city and country
I meant addresses of where I lived. I've put the dates I was employed, the times when i was traveling, when i was a student, when i was unemployed. I didn't put for example:
123 Example Street Jan 2009-March-2012

is this assumed from where i was working? also, i included an address form some place else.

Question 12 is where you will list all the addresses where you were living during the same time period
ok, so personal history is just job, traveling, studies, etc.

Mine goes back to when I started university in september 2005. I would have been 18 at the time so I guess that'll be fine.

Yep, personal history just requires the activity and what city and country you were doing it in, the addresses where you lived during that time comes later on in the form.

excellent, so i should be alright then. Thanks for the heads up.

Does the rest of my list look ok? Soon as the police checks arrive I'm pretty much good to go.

It's luck of the draw. It appears to be more common than not.. Happened to us also... We got about 15 years back accounted for, and only a few more back to 18... Still no good. It would not hurt anyway... Will be delayed if asked to redo. In our case we missed the instructions as email got auto deleted. Better safe than sorry.

So you sent off a 15 year history till 18 and they still asked for more?

Yikes. Might add an extra few years prior to my uni just saying "high school"

Sounds like he/she did 15 years of history back to age 20-21 or so but they requested that they do all the way back to 18. You don't need to do anything before 18, so don't worry about high school (unless you were 18 in your final year of high school i guess)
