Cheap flights going home

Hi guys! Is anyone here tried booking for cheap flights offered by websites such as skyscanner, go last minute, etc? any feedback? It appears like they're way cheaper than one-stop flights but of course I have to endure the long layover in between flights. But this is all I can afford right now, I just wanna make sure they're legit and I won't encounter any problem Thanks in advance
