salam guys,
I'm sponsoring my husband from Pakistan.
This is my process:
May 3rd, 2011 - Application sent to CPC-M
June 1st, 2011 - Application returned because of wrong method of payment
July 20th, 2011 - Resubmitted application received at CPC-M
Sept. 13th, 2011 - CPC-M started processing my application to sponsor
Sept., 2011- Decision Made, letter sent to pakistan mailing address
Still waiting for the letter...................
What happens next? How long will it take from decision made, till my husband recives his Permanent Residences?
Another thing, We currently moved to Abu dhabi, U.A.E. I have come back to Canada, since I was losing time in completing my studies.
I want to switch the visa office to abu dhabi because my husband's there. How can I do that?
Will my application process faster now since the 'decision made'.. does it mean my husband will come to Canada earlier than we expected?
I just cannot wait... its been too long for me, living apart (2months actually :$ )but I can't waste time for my education aswell. The main plan was to get my studies finished, then I would go back to my hubby <3 but is there any chances that he might be approved earlier? I can't wait if there is a chance for that... yayyyy Alhumdulillah I am too excited
Can someone explain to me please?
Wsalam
Sorry, it doesn't mean anything at all. The decision made is for sponsorship approval. Here is how the process goes:
1)After the file is transfered to Islamabad Embassy it collects dirt for 10-12 months.
2)Then they start the initial review of the application.
3)They request to re-fill some forms along with an updated police clearence certificate.
4)They request for Re-medical after some time. (It could come with the forms request as well)
5)If the background checks are clear and medical is clear, they request for Passport to be sent to the Embassy.
6)Once they stamp the Visa on the passport, they return it to you.
The whole process takes about 14-16 months for wife cases and 16-20 months for husband cases. Sometimes it takes more time if the case is complicated and nikkah only. Although they have started to pick up the pace a little bit lately. They ask for the Ruksati to be done or else they put the file in the interview queue. So keep collection relationship proof such as call history, chat logs, emails, text messaging logs, gift receipts, money transfer receipts, visit pictures, visit tickets/boarding pass. They can ask for more proof if they feel like the proof of relationship is not enough. It doesn't matter if you are married, now they ask for recent/continous proof of contact. Hope it helps.
